Cherokee Nation Technologies serves commercial and government clients with through the intelligent use of technology. Most recently, Cherokee Nation Technologies won a $39,461,205 firm-fixed-price contract to advise and assist the U.S. Air Force on environmental cleanup, project execution and financial matters, announced the Department of Defense.
A subsidiary of Cherokee Nation Businesses, Cherokee Nation Technologies (CNT) will provide research, analysis, evaluation and engineering support for base realignment and closure programs.
The Air Force received three proposals for the contract via a competitive acquisition process. Nearly $9.5M in fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance funds were being obligated at the time of the award.
Work will be performed at several locations in the U.S. and is expected to be completed by April 6, 2023.
In May, CNT received another significant opportunity to join the Federal Aviation Administration’s Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Integration Pilot Program alongside partners at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. CNB and CNT are supporting the United States Marine Corps teams in developing and refining the military’s countering capabilities against commercially available UAS.
